Standardbred Investigative Services (SIS) is an internal sub-division of the TRPB that provides investigative and information services and resources to the standardbred racing industry. SIS officially began its operations on June 1, 1996. Its funding is derived on an equal basis from member tracks of the Harness Tracks of America (HTA) and the membership of the United States Trotting Association (USTA). The objectives of SIS closely mirror those of the TRPB i.e. to address the actions of participants in harness racing that compromise and adversely affect the integrity of racing and the business interests of capital investors. SIS is also charged with building a unique data bank of investigative, intelligence and security information that can be accessed and circulated to authorized users within HTA and USTA. TRPB is pledged to provide its full support to the activities and goals of SIS. The contact address and telephone numbers for SIS and its key personnel are as follows: STANDARDBRED INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES Headquarters Telephone Number: 24-hour Fax Number
