The Thoroughbred (and Standardbred) racing/breeding industry has become an increasingly global one in the past decade. The international travel of people and horses in the equine world realistically means that negative aspects within the industry are equally subject to "export" as well. TRPB thus believes there is ample incentive for investigative and security agencies officially involved in the equine racing and breeding industry to share information on a restricted basis.

As the lead investigative agency in North American racing, TRPB has established this international forum to create a mechanism that will facilitate improved contact and cooperation amongst and between all authorized agency users. The forum will be utilized to:

• Initiate specific inquiries to TRPB that in turn will generate rapid response and production of information.

• Post information on current investigative incidents, alerts, racing intelligence, findings/decisions of regulatory agencies and other events of general interest.
