The Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing/breeding industries have become increasingly global in the past decade. The international travel of people and horses in the equine world realistically means that negative aspects within the industry are equally subject to "export" as well. TRPB thus believes there is ample incentive for investigative and security agencies officially involved in the equine racing and breeding industry to share information on a restricted basis.
As the lead investigative agency in North American racing, TRPB has established this International Forum to create a mechanism that will facilitate improved contact and cooperation among and between all authorized agency users. The forum will be utilized to:
Initiate specific inquiries to TRPB that in turn will generate rapid response and production of information.
Post information on current investigative incidents, alerts, racing intelligence, findings/decisions of regulatory agencies and other events which would be of specific or general interest to investigators internationally.
Allow investigators/agencies to openly conduct dialog and exchange ideas on matters of mutual interest.
Provide a directory of email addresses to allow investigators/agencies to communicate directly with each other.
